Sofia Arreguin is a musician raised and living in Los Angeles. She began writing and touring with a band called Wand (Drag City) in 2015. In the past few years she has also performed and toured with Devendra Banhart, Current Joys, Kathleen Hannah, White Fence, Shannon Lay, and Kamikaze Palm Tree. Her main instruments are piano and synth. In 2020, she discovered an old demo tape left behind by her dad Gregg. He had played guitar for Brian Eno, Seal, Chris Isaak, K.D. Lang, and many others, before he passed away in 2003. She started playing with a couple of his songs, reinterpreting nearly intelligible lyrics because the tape was so warped and distorted.
