Coby Sey is an artist, multi-instrumentalist musician and DJ from Lewisham, London. Coby Sey’s distinguished presence in London has elicited a bold impression of his compositions and performances, to much the attention of acclaimed artists and collaborators Tirzah, Mica Levi, Kwes, Kelly Lee Owens and Cosha.

Sey’s recent work includes curating a bespoke soundtrack for London-based designer Saul Nash’s Stance SS27. His music draws from a vast spectrum of influences while remaining unmistakably his own, blending live instrumentation and electronic production with introspective lyrics. That open-door approach to collaboration and music-making extends to his work with the London Contemporary Orchestra, CURL — the collective he founded with Mica Levi and Brother May — and his regular slot on NTS Radio, which offers a portal into his appealingly murky musical world.
