Jack Dunning’s production work as Untold has reinvigorated the climate of dancefloors around the globe. First releasing music on Hessle Audio, the North Londoner has gone on to releases numerous scene stealing EPs on outlets such as Hotflush, R & S, Soul Jazz and 50 Weapons, as well as his own Hemlock Recordings. He now stands proudly as a tastemaker and pioneer in his own right.

Black Light Spiral, his debut album on his own Hemlock label, was his most focused and evolved release to date. Released to critical acclaim in 2014, it delivered on Untold’s mission to keep the people up and at it with rough tough music while confounding them with brilliantly executed improbabilities. Since the album Dunning has developed a brand new live show, taking in stand out performances at Berghain, Sonar, Dekmantel, Unsound, RBMA Tokyo and more. Listen to tracks from 'Black Light Spiral' below.

DJ Marfox’ debut 12” 'Eu Sei Quem Sou' (“I Know Who I Am”) declared his insistence on claiming cultural roots, and roots as an impetus for creative, technological and - perhaps most critically - collective social evolution.

Marfox aka Marlon Silvas’s ancestry traces back to the former Portuguese colony of São Tomé e Príncipe. He began producing and DJing as a teenager, disseminating music via YouTube and independently releasing his music via mp3s in Lisbon. His DJs “di Ghetto” compilation EP produced with his crew by the same name acquired iconic status in urban Portugal and diasporic African communities throughout Europe.  Helping to create a grassroots network of young creatives seeking to breach new territory in sound and culture.

'Eu Sei Quem Sou', released via the then emerging label Príncipe in 2012, articulated brash poetics with complex driving percussion, dark baroque techno, garage, bass, and batida (instrumental kuduro) demonstrating Marfox’ complex aesthetic matrices. Piccadilly records described the release as: “An excellent EP that could only really have come out of a cultural melting pot such as Lisbon, a new direction for dance music on the global dancefloor.”

Amongst other European live dates in 2013 stands out his slot at Unsound Festival which was so widely praised by critics and public attending his set as one of the festival's highlights. His most recent 'Lucky Punch' EP was released early last Summer on Lit City Trax (DJ Rashad, Traxman, ..) and his glorious US live premiere happened at the label's party at The Westway, as part of the Red Bull Music Academy New York Festival. He went back to the States for MoMA PS1 Warm Up Series in NYC, besides making it to L.A. for a Lit City Rave at Los Globos and finished 2014 visiting Brazil for the first time, playing Rio's Festival Novas Frequências and Club Neu in São Paulo. Also topping a fantastic year, his commissioned remix work for tUnE-yArDs "Water Fountain" single got a digital release before December was over.

Marfox has just delivered a new and eagerly awaited EP for Príncipe to be released soon and recently saw his 'Take Off' track included on Warp Record's Cargaa 1 compilation.

‘Make It Up’ is Tirzah’s third release for the Greco-Roman label following an acclaimed debut in the form of lofi anthem ‘I’m Not Dancing’ and 2014’s self-confessed “emo” ‘No Romance’ EP. Once again, with just a handful of tracks her skill at crafting a seemingly effortless modern take on pop shines through, as quietly compelling as it is understated. Listen below.
